GooseAI’s pricing model is made to be simple and transparent. Requests are billed at a base rate, depending upon the model chosen, which includes a set number of generated tokens. If your requests are set to generate a larger than standard number of output tokens, your requests will be billed an additional per token cost. That’s it. No hidden fees, no charges for input token costs. No platform charges. No idle infrastructure costs. You pay for what you consume.

As you make requests to the GooseAI API endpoints, payment for your usage is deducted from your account credit balance, which is denominated in USD. GooseAI credits can be purchased at any time on your Dashboard, and you are required to have a positive credit balance in order to use the service. Q. What is a token?

A. A token is a piece of information used in Natural Language Processing. A token can be a word, punctuation-mark, or other simple string. The average size of a token on GooseAI is between 3 and 4 characters. [This answer is 205 characters and 46 tokens long.]

Q. Do my credits expire?

A. All credits expire 12 months after the purchase date. Credits are used on a first in, first out basis, meaning credits you purchased yesterday will be consumed before credits you purchased today.

Q. Are credit balances refundable?

A. Credit purchases are not refundable.
